New wet snow up to 12"+ Cloudy and snowing. Light wind. No Red Flags noted. Dug a few pits and did a couple ECT tests for practice. The new wet snow had a good bond, on the N and NE aspects, to a melt/freeze base of 3 to 6". Most of the more NW to W aspects were devoid of snow prior to Thursday. By the afternoon approx. 12". We were able to ride without grounding out. On Friday the !3th: a few more inches on the ground. Good cohesive snow pack. Minimal contact with rocks. Partial sun. See the official observations and picture. There was full sun for the picture around 0930 but clouds came back later. Lots of fun was had.
