Crowns viewed on all these aspects higher on the mountain. Whumphing noises, shooting cracks. collapsing no Rapid warming no Obvious avalanche path yes Comment Large slides all over baden powell. Traveled through a 100yard wide slide path on the skin track, dug a pit and got CT14 and ECT24. Storm slab released on a weak layer 70cm down. This was clearly causing the avalanche paths we witnessed. We turned around due to the hazard.
