north and north east aspects, approx. 4-8" of dry powder on top of old frozen snow and boiler plate. 
rocks showing or just covered with the new snow.

able to links some good turns in the dry powder without hitting rocks, and not affected by the ice underneath.

north western and western aspects off the ridge had the 4-8" of dry pow covering a mix of dirt, rocks and ice.

very careful skiing.

hiking on the steeper sections were very sketchy with the ice under the dry snow.
