Rollers balls and pinwheels starting to come from rocks near top of slope. Snow becoming softer and not supporting boot pack well. Snow surface temp 0°c At summit ridge just above bowl air temp. -3°c with strong steady winds Some quick hand pits showed snow very well consolidated and no layers. Near top of slope a sugary consistancy at about 10,000' Over the ridge was strong winds with signs of loading but no slope to speak of here Publish this observation - Yes I would like this observation Published |
