Stopped to dig a pit on the lookers left flank of the dogleg at 9,466ft. North aspect just outside the treeline=

Snow depth was 230cm, dug down to 150cm

230cm to 215cm fist hard

215cm to 205cm 4 finger

205 below 1 finger

CTM9 on a crust layer at 190cm

Later in the day on solar aspects we set off small roller balls and pinwheels, by 2pm below 8,500 ft snow was heavily sun affected
