Comment
75 cm snow pack in bottom of gully.

Ground-15cm, fist hard, sugary pre 12/14 snow w/ice layer at 15cm.

15-35cm, fist hard w/micro ice layers, rounding/wet grains 12/13 into early 12/14 snow.

35-50cm, knife hard+, 12/14 mid-day rain layer.
50-65cm, fist hard, 12/14 post rain snow.

65-75cm, 1-2 finger hard, 12/16 snow.

All snow quantities are likely amplified due to topography(gully). Small natural slides(wet in nature) were observed that I suspect occurred during rain on Tuesday. No stability tests were performed. Snow quality for riding was questionable on approach and was not improving as I got higher. I turned around at 7900'. Decending I triggered several small wind slabs.
