Comment
Dug a quick put down to rocks. This area is a rock talus field all filled in. Approximately 18 inches of new snow 4 finger consistent with light snow/gropel on top of a few inches. Pencil hard layer ice crust on top of 1 finger hard of early stage facet snow to another ice layer at rocks. CT test failed at 23 but failed at rock so inconclusive. ECT no results. Best riding conditions I've seen up there.
