Comment
Left Vincent gap at 8:30. Firm and slick conditions (used crampons and ice axe). Dug a shallow pit at 8800'. Started post holing and thought I should check out the layers. The top two or three inches slipped but the lower layers were well boned. Took a few turns off of the summit at 11:00 then hiked back to the ridge and road the snake run back to the parking lot around noon. It was surprisingly good.
