Sun exposed areas starting to soften. Above freezing temps overnight. South side of ridge completely melted except shaded areas. Ridge top turning to corn about 10:30. Rest of slopes mostly locked up still except sun exposed areas as noted above. Ridge @ 7,472’ Clouds began to move in around 1145 Northeast aspects softened up for some nice turns after noon, anything that did not receive direct sun remained firm but edgeable I would expect higher elevations would be less likely to soften and may not at all. Our stability tests should no reaction in this location. Remember this is only a snapshot of a much larger picture and spacial variability is always a concern. elevation and aspect will play a big roll in what conditions are like in another location.
