8:30am snow sticking at 3,500’ patchy up to 2”
4,300’ snow consistent and up to 4/6” 
Road clear with icy spots. At 5,000’ icy patches in sheltered areas past 6,000’ many snowy icy patches.

3pm thunderstorms began to the west snow began to fall steadily and got to over an inch per hour. By 4 snow had stopped. Winds were light and sky was obscured. 

Snow rode well very light low density snow from the storm. During the day as sun peaked out occasionally a thin crust developed mainly on NE aspects. NW to N aspects rode nicely. The old snow had a stout melt freeze crust about 15" deep which gave shelter to most obstacles in this area. moderate snowfall moved in for about an hour at 3pm leaving another 1"+
